WEI Annual Photo Contest
The contest is open to all WEI energy and service company members. Send us pics that are beautiful, interesting, enlightening or humorous — or that photo you’re simply proud of, for whatever reason. We only ask that they be industry-related. Share your visual story and get a chance to win placement on the cover of WE Magazine. We’ll also publish a collection of the best entries in the Winter Issue.
Please submit your photo by June 30, 2017, by emailing it to Gabrielle Zapun. Please include the photographer’s name, company, date or year the photograph was taken, and an optional caption. Entry into the contest constitutes your acceptance of the official contest rules. Please see rules for additional details. Good luck!
WEI’s quarterly publication is distributed to more than 6,500 decision-makers of public and private companies involved in electric generation and transmission, gas and electric distribution, pipeline operations, power marketing and energy-related services. Content is contributed from WEI member companies and industry partners, and offers unique perspectives pertinent to energy executives and managers who face common business challenges spanning across front line operations to back office functions.
On Energy Storage Systems:
“It is important to consider all of the stackable benefits that [energy storage] systems can provide beyond the integration of renewables. It can be difficult to place a financial value on some of these benefits, such as frequency regulation and system resiliency, but these are key, operational benefits that can be realized by grid-level energy storage.”
Western Energy magazine has been published since 2011, and our collection of past digital issues are available online for free in our archive.
